The Ringwood Public Schools have already suffered the privatization of the custodial staff, the outsourcing of an OT position, the loss of five paraprofessional positions, and the loss of seven teaching positions, with dramatic cuts to the BSI, G&T and band programs.

If this plan goes through, we will be forced to strip another $160K from our budget for next year, which will mean more and deeper cuts.

This would have been difficult enough if we had been notified in December, but telling us now, over a month after our final budget was approved, is unconscionable. Please contact the governor and the legislators below and tell them to reject this plan for the 2017-18 school year or to hold harmless those districts who
would see a reduction in aid.
